Ben Davies! The new manager of the Savoy Hotel has been shaking things up for the last year and it's time to shine a light on him! Between the improvements to the beautiful rooftop patio, to the opening of the Bear and Sturgeon Pub, and all the amazing details that make this place glow, Ben is a hospitality Rockstar!.

He hails originally from Britain but has called Nelson his family’s home for many years now and on his weekends you will find him ski patrolling at Whitewater or riding his bike or paddleboard. Ben believes in the elements that make your stay at this boutique hotel the most enjoyable possible.

Ben’s philosophy is to keep it simple but splendid, as in quality trumps quantity! This leads to the best use of space, the local knowledge and caring nature of his staff, plugging your parking meter if possible for you, helping with your luggage and being excited to assist in sourcing your adventures. The Savoy’s own neighborhood pub on the premises also follows these ideals by having the best local beers on tap, tasty snacks, and friendly bartenders to make your evening fun and comfortable.

Ben was enticed to manage this upscale boutique hotel due to it’s ability to allow guests to feel at home, while adding the personal touches that make it a memorable stay.
