For The Librarian‘s 3rd visit to Bloom, we’ve teamed up with Calmpound‘s imprint, Low Key – a semi-regular night dedicated to the more underground sounds of bass music – namely jungle, footwork, grime and all things low-end centric. We’ve tapped the Low Key don himself for support, as well as the Nelson debut of an all-vinyl classic dubstep and grime set that DJ Dubconscious has been putting together as of late.LibrarianLowKeyWebPoster Tickets are available now at The Falls Music Lounge, earlybirds are just $15!

•• The Librarian ••
Bass Coast Festival // Squamish, BC

Shhhhhhhh! Andrea Graham is known as The Librarian, but don’t be fooled by her deceptively quiet composure. The Bass Coast Festival‘s co-founder and music curator has been making some very loud noises up and down the Pacific Northwest for the better part of a decade. Her knack for blending total dance floor destruction with sly subtleties and hot new exclusives makes for a consistently accessible, yet undeniably future sound.

Graham’s energetic presence commands attention. She has toured the Pacific Northwest club & festival circuit extensively (Lightning in a Bottle, Shambhala, Symbiosis Gathering, Rifflandia, What the Festival, Sonic Bloom, Burning Man, Envision Festival, World Ski & Snowboarding Festival, Crankworks, Pemberton Festival, Squamish Valley Music Festival and more), and has performed as far way as Costa Rica & throughout Can & USA. She is an esteemed member of Vancouver’s Lighta! Sound and also co-hosts a bi-weekly radio program with with Mat The Alien on sub.fm.

The Librarian currently has releases out on East Van Digital and King Deluxewith some new collaborations set for release in 2016.

•• DJ Dubconscious ••
Shambhala Music Festival

Jake’s been pretty busy booking the club and helping out with the festival lately, but ever since he’s been reunited with his record collection that’d been in an Ontario basement since 2009, he’s been making time to get reacquainted in a big way. If names like these mean anything to you, make sure you catch the set: dmz, DEEP MEDi, Hyperdub Records, KAPSIZE RECORDINGS, Chestplate, Tempa, Dub Police, Scotch Bonnet Records, the War white labels, and even Planet Mu (OFFICIAL) + Ninja Tune for a time..

•• Calmpound ••
Sensing Waves

The BC born and raised multi-instrumentalist/producer/DJ known as Calmpound blends an ever widening tapestry of sounds and moods. Deep Jungle/Footwork, Dubstep, West Coast Bass presented amongst his own productions.
