The Funk Hunters (Vancouver, BC) are one of Canada’s top breakout acts, gaining accolades from all corners of the electronic music scene and pushing boundaries. This DJ duo have always been the driving energy of the party with their forward-thinking electronic music that is influenced by old school soul, funk and hip hop.

DJ Dubconscious has come to represent both the east and the western coast of Canada. Born in Toronto and raised on the jungle / drum’n’bass sounds permeating the city in the late 90s & early 2000s, he developed a taste for hard beats drenched in reggae vibes. Having established a name for himself in Toronto’s competitive scene, he headed west once more, this time settling in Nelson, BC and has proven his versatility many times over, across an array of arenas.

The Hillties are a five piece band (champman stick, ukulele, drums and four part harmonies) based out of Nelson /Victoria BC. Using this unique instrumentation we blend ska/reggae and funk into original music to keep the dance floor bumping all night. We would love to be a part of your festival.

Peter Vogalaar of Winlaw recently captured the top prize at the Parksville International Sand Sculpture contest on Vancouver Island (one of the top-rated sand sculpturing contests in Canada). Vogealaar has been creating sculptures for years and has done work at the Olympics in Nagano, Japan. Check out his impressive work at https://snowsculpture.com/
