The Sleeveless Wonder is back, and this time we thought we’d add some luster to the line-up, and sign SHINY THINGS MUSIC on to hold down the main support slot. Digs Beats takes in from the top, with Happy Hour drink specials in effect until 11:30pm. Tickets available online now (earlybirds already sold out), with hardcopies arriving at The Falls Music Lounge later this week..

•• Stylust Beats ••
Los Angeles, California

Known for his sleeveless, whimsical synergy with the fans, Geoff “Stylust Beats” Reich has been creating his own counterculture since he was a teenager. A skate punk and hip-hop devotee, this groundbreaking DJ’s talent for fusing rap hooks and dubstep bass with multiple music genres has earned him the rep as a creative renegade carving his own path. With a style that captivates lovers of all music, the Canadian-bred San Francisco DJ has emerged as a frontrunner in the new wave of industry heavyweights. In a recent interview this stereophonic chameleon explains the method to his madness, “My goal is to make timeless bass music: I try to make every track an epic, melodic adventure through many different genres.”

SHINY THINGS come from dirty places: rolling in rave dust since childhood, the colourful vibes awoken during prepubescent trips in the desert have transmuted into some of the future weird of today. From the interior groves of the west coast, this one’s a contributor; when not on stage you’ll find him on the floor, with glistening wits and moves for days. Selections all with good taste, these hyphy but paced, futuristic but deeply rooted psychedelic sounds are pleasantly hype at all hours.
