Everyone is invited to this evening of peace infused music, featuring the Selkirk College Contemporary Music and Technology Program Faculty. This event is a joint fundraiser for the Peace and Justice Studies Association (PJSA) Conference (https://www.peacejusticestudies.org/conference) and the Selkirk College’s partnership with Nyundo School of Music in Rwanda. The Peace and Justice Studies Association is the largest association of peace scholars, educators and activists in North America. Funds raised will assist this non-profit organization to support new scholars through awards, mentorship, assisting with publishing, networking and showcasing new work.

The partnership between Selkirk College Contemporary Music and Technology Program and Rwanda’s Nyundo School of Music is quite recent. Funds raised will assist music students from both programs to take part in internships and exchange programs as well as support the purchase of much needed equipment for the music program in Rwanda.
