DJ Just-B grew up near Toronto, Canada where he began spinning records in 1997. He was influenced by the emerging hip-hop, electronic dance and pop sounds of the 80’s as well as house, techno, and jungle/drum n bass parties of the 90’s. Upon moving to Nelson, BC, Canada in 1999, he began to hone his particular DJ style of “dirty, sexy, funky, chunky, boompty, bouncy, irresistibly danceable house music.” Most recently, B has reintroduced more hip-hop, breaks, mashups and dnb to the usual mix, focusing on big bass lines and dynamic lyrics, all the while retaining a smooth and positive feel..
