Renowned and respected worldwide for his highly technical turntablism, meticulously crafted DJ sets and party-punching productions, Krafty Kuts is in a league of his own.

One of the key pioneers in the UK Breakbeat and bass movement scene, Krafty Kuts has multiple awards to his name and has released music on the likes of Ministry Of Sound, OWSLA, Fingerlickin, Sothern Fried, Mix Mag, Fabric , Against the Grain, Instant Vibes, UKF and many more.

Continuously immersed in beat culture since forming his own b-boy break dancing crew in the late 80s. Krafty Kuts has had his own record store chain, run labels, promoted critical scene events, formed his own band Wicked City and performed to crowds of over 40,000 at the worlds leading events alongside the biggest names in music from the Rolling Stones to The Prodigy. Living, breathing and sleeping the funk without compromise. Read on for where it all began…

His successes have mainly come from the ability to rock many parties with many styles, crossing over all the musical genres ranging from Jazz, Funk, Hip Hop, Dubstep, Glitch Hop, Electo Swing, Ghetto Funk, Breakbeat, Drumstep and Drum & Bass.

•• Dynamite MC ••

Dynamite MC, (born Dominic Smith) grew up around the world – living in Germany, Ireland, Brazil, Gloucester, Bristol and now London. He originally gained prominence in jungle/drum and bass, working with Roni Size and Reprazent, but has also released hip hop and breaks and garage material.

He started his MCing career on pirate radio station, Crush FM, broadcasting in Gloucester South West England during the early 1990s. He met Roni Size in 1994 and began MCing for the Full Cycle crew. When the Bristol collective formed the live band Reprazent, Dynamite shared vocal duties with singer, Onallee. Their debut album New Forms won the Mercury Music Prize in 1997. Dynamite’s role was enhanced for Reprazent’s second album, the hip-hop influenced In The Mode (2000).

Following this, Dynamite has collaborated with a range of artists including The Nextmen, DJ Skitz, Scratch Perverts, Andy C and DJ Zinc, Krafty Kuts releasing a solo album The World of Dynamite (2004).
