Early February marks 6 months to the 20th Annual Shambhala Music Festival, and we’ve decided to curate a halfway celebration that features a definitively unique artist match-up at the finest venue in the area! We’re extremely excited to be pairing one of the most popular recurring artist duos at the festival of the 2010s, with two of our original resident DJs (i.e. have played every Shambhala since the first in 1998) and also to hear just how it’ll all translate on Bloom Nightclub‘s remarkable PK Sound system.. First tickets are just $15, and are expected to arrive and be available at The Falls Music Lounge on Wed Jan 18. We will have a table set up at this event with Shambhala merch available for purchase, including our new Shambhala toques / beanies!

•• Shambhala Ticket Giveaway ••

We will randomly be selecting a lucky winner of one (1) promo ticket to the 20th Annual Shambhala Music Festival in Salmo, British Columbia, August 11-14, 2017 on this night. Upon entry to the event you will have the opportunity to enter our draw, so long as you arrive before 11:30PM – with the winner being selected and announced between Meow Mix and Skiitour.

•• SkiiTour ••
Westwood Recordings / Fort Knox Recordings
Whistler, BC

Fusing two fresh-off-the-mountain electronic music addicts, Tim and Dave together create 12 feet and 350 lbs of turbo-funk-boosted, snowsuit-donning man flesh. Hailing from the world famous ski town of Whistler, this dynamic duo loves shredding fresh power almost as much as they love smashing out hit records in the studio.

Producing & performing together since 2010, they are like savage yetis feeding off of each other during their high energy live shows (which often feature snow machines & loud retro ski gear) while they blast through genres playing everything funky from bassline house to black-diamond twerk.

•• Ginger & Emma Star of Meow Mix ••

Emma Star has been a dancer her whole life.. so it was only natural to be drawn to DJing back in 1997.. Full love and support from her community in Nelson BC, Emma Star has had the privilege of playing at every Shambhala since the beginning.

Ginger has been keeping the vibe strong at the beach starting at Shambhala’s inception. She’s helped herd the kittens into an all female collective Meow Mix and has rocked out the Kooteneys with her crew Self Powered Sound.
