Vancouver’s duo Greazus ( HxdB & DJ CURE) have stepped up their game since playing Bloom in its first month of operations last July – their collaboration with Sinistarr was pressed to vinyl by Hospital Records, they’ve got a Sam Binga remix on the way for Critical Music, and they’ve been receiving play from the likes of Ivy Lab, DBridge and Om Unit. Meanwhile, Kootenay favourite BOGL is currently on the Good Fortunes Tour with VNDMG – a San Fran-based producer with releases on Saturaterecords and Daly City Records, set to play his inagaural Shambhala Music Festival set this summer on The AMPhitheatre.

Luckily for us, their paths just so happen to cross here in Nelson, BC for a superb night of bass music, on our finely-tuned PK Sound rig! $8 before 11pm, $12 after – drink specials on until 11:30!

•• Greazus ••

GREAZUS is the culmination of nearly 2 combined decades of experience producing music, DJing, running record labels and promoting underground shows in Vancouver. This is the shared vision of two of the city’s most renowned and prolific bass music ambassadors – HxdB & Patrik Cure.

•• VNDMG ••

A constant proponent of all things weird and sci-fi, VNDMG lives to produce technically experimental bass music. By infusing hip-hop fundamentals and MCs in to electronic music, he pushes the listener to experience new and unique sounds while luring them in with familiar crowd pleasers. A high energy DJ, VNDMG prides himself on providing a unique set full of original productions, remixes, and hidden gems.

•• BOGL ••

Griffin March aka BOGL, is a self-taught DJ and music enthusiast originally from Las Vegas, NV. With his parties, Soundpieces, Bogl has been able to host and play alongside current left-field artists from around the world in San Francisco and beyond for years. His charisma is like that of a friendly ghost; he is kept close to your heart as one would a godfather, while basically existing as an untouchable phenomenon. He’s become known for appearing out of what seems like thin air to play an eclectic selection of bass heavy productions, take you to an unfathomable dimension, then suddenly vanishing to another far off place. It make us wonder how it’s even possible for Bogl to exist.
