The story of KNG SPRNGS is definitely something different. Sheldon Springs, 28, began his venture into the music scene as a choreographer for Lucent Dossier Experience back in 2013. That was the first time he had ever been to any kind of music festival, let along, getting exposed to the world of electronic dance music. After that, he was hooked. After two more years of touring major music festivals around the country with Lucent, he wanted to jump in the Dj/ music production world head on. Within 6 months of Djing, he was able to land his debut at the Eminem & Rihanna tour wrap party, opening up for Dj Alchemist. From then on, he knew that he was on to something. Fast forwarding the beginning of 2016, all his hard work let to his festival debut at the place it all started for him, Lightning In a Bottle. That set had such rave reviews, he was quickly nominated for a set at this year’s legendary Burning Man, playing at the infamous Camp Questionmark Stage. Symbiosis came soon after and since then, he hasn’t stopped working.

Be careful of how you label the KNG though. His plan of attack is much different than most. While reigning from Houston, Texas, now living in LA, there is a specific mission the KNG is desiring to fulfill. “Right now, KNG says, there are no DJ’s that are truly dancing at all!” yes, I get what DJing is mostly about, but as a DJ, I feel we have a responsibility to keep the interactive aspect alive. So, depending on the venue, yes, you will see me dance. Not jumping up and down, none of that played out shit. I’m dancing!” Its time we gave back ad DJ’s and this is the best way I Know how.”

Currently, KNG is finishing up his debut EP “Trials x Tribulations x Triumph.” this will be the first of it’s kind, a visual EP choreographed and in some videos, even danced by the KNG himself. This well easily put him in a lane of his own, and he couldn’t be more excited. Be sure to catch his set Nov. 10th as he makes his Canadian debut at Bloom!

Fluxo began in Kaslo in the early 2000’s and has continued to grow and develop into a well rounded musical being, inspired by local djs Paul Phoenix, Hoola, Soup and the 5th Element crew, over the years opening up for acts like EL-B, Onra, B. Bravo, Jacky Murda, Shabaz Palaces amd Joker to name just a few.
