•• Intersect ••

Intersect embraces innovation and evolution as they create a fresh take on West Coast Bass music. Their original productions are genre bending yet always rooted in bass and groove, expanding the boundaries past the normality of EDM. Based out of Nelson BC, Rahj Levinson and Scott Milne met while performing in the popular band Wassabi Collective. Sharing a love of electronic music, they have been focusing on developing their unique sound, culminating in the release of their first EP ‘Push If You Like’ in December 2014

Building and expanding on their combined histories and creating yet another musical legacy, Intersect is bringing their musical sensibilities and booty-shaking deep bass to dance floors everywhere, having played at Shambhala Music festival, Bass Coast, Luminosity and Unity Festival, and playing with acts like Adham Shaikh, Andreilien, Eprom, The Librarian, and Gaudi, among others.

•• Ocea Sasa ••

Hailing from the pristine beaches and forests of the Sunshine Coast near Vancouver, Ocea was raised at music festivals all over coastal BC. At the age of 15, taking notes from her father, she began experimenting with all sorts of music genres and playing high school parties. As Ocea grew up, she began honing her taste in music and creating a name for herself in her hometown by playing house parties, intimate festivals, and modest club nights. At 19 years old Ocea moved to the Kootenays and began pursuing the music scene in Nelson, playing her debut shot at Spiritbar in the Summer of 2015 Ocea played her debut show at Spirit Bar. She then went on to play at the one-day festival Raise The Hoof on the White Crow Farmin Winlaw BC, and then made another appearance at the White Crow for The Field Gathering.

Gaining momentum now, with an ever-growing passion for the art of performing and moving an audience with music, Ocea is creating a name and reputation as a fun, eclectic, and tasteful young DJ here in the Kootenay Mountains. Her style of music ranges from fun upbeat, to deep sexy house and moddy bass, often interlaced with sweet melodies and fun old school remixes. Playing for the first couple of years with her father’s music collection, she has a taste in sound selection far beyond her years and you will often hear her laying down remixes of old time favourites from long before her time. Ocea enjoys intermixing the modern sound with the music she was surrounded in as she grew up, creating balance and catering to a very wide audience.

•• YETZ ••

Located in Nelson BC Canada. Spinning since early 2015, Hudson is a bass music enthusiast – especially Drum and Bass. Liquid, Jungle, Jump-up and Dub, he aims to cover all bases, tossing in some Throwbacks to a time before electronic music here and there.

•• Tim Day DJ ••

From tree planting camps to main stages, from small town Ontario to the heart of the Kootenays.

Since arriving in BC five years ago and choosing to call Nelson home, Tim Day has made himself a staple of the area’s infamous party vibes and nightlife. Always keeping everyone on their toes Tim introduces some of the freshest underground sounds from around the world, while paying homage to the classics that got us where we are today. It doesn’t matter if its solo, b2b, or working with some of the areas best MC’s, Tim Day is alway looking for that next reload ting.
