The kick-off Fershursday event last week was a total success, and their second event happens to fall on the Thursday before the Canada Day holiday! And so, Fershursday curators Yetz & Tim Day have enlisted a righteous combination of Canadian artists from the coast to join them on the decks and help us celebrate the day off work – namely GDubz, Tripzy Leary& Rocky Fisher! This show will feature happy hour drink specials on until 11:30pm and remain to be totally free of cover fees – an absolute steal for the amount and calibre of Canadian talent being showcased over the evening. Get familiar!

•• GDubz ••

With snowballing momentum GDUBZ is a force stronger than gravity itself. Harder than nails, tougher than tough his heavy bass and grimy synths penetrate deep and hit you like a boot to the chest. Diving into the electronic music scene just a few short years ago has paid off in dividends for this up & coming producer. His following grows daily, and the ride has only just begun for this multi-talented musician.

•• Tripzy Leary ••

Tripzy Leary’s music is a Cyberdelic experience. The music he makes is designed to make the crowd feel like they took a bunch of acid, without having taken any. The word that comes to mind when thinking of Tripzy Leary’s music is “trippy” or “Tripzy.” It’s nothing you ever heard before, because Tripzy takes great care in making sure it sounds different from everyone else. It’s a special experience unique in its own way.

•• Rocky Fi$her Music ••

Boom! Rocky Fi$her spins a wide variety of bass music genres: danceable electro, drum and bass, moombacore, drumstep, dubstep & trap. Rocky has played Sound Clash of the Titans 2011, The Lemonade Stand Stage at Sync Festival 2012, is a resident DJ for EPiC Thursdays at Club 23, a resident at The Astoria for DnB Sundays, and has played with such names as 1-up, Glitchy & Scratchy, Dangamouse, Myles Away, & Abstrakt Sonance.

•• Yetz ••

Located in Nelson BC Canada. Spinning since early 2015, Hudson is a bass music enthusiast – especially Drum and Bass. Liquid, Jungle, Jump-up and Dub, he aims to cover all bases, tossing in some Throwbacks to a time before electronic music here and there.

•• Tim Day DJ ••

“From tree planting camps to main stages, small town Ontario to the heart of the Kootenays.
Since arriving in BC five years ago, choosing to call Nelson home, Tim Day has made himself a staple of Nelson’s infamous party vibes and Night life. Always keeping everyone on their toes Tim introduces some of the freshest underground sounds from around the world, while paying homage to the classics that got us where we are today. It doesn’t matter if its solo, b2b, or working with some of the areas best MC’s, Tim Day is alway looking for that next reload ting.”
