•• Daega Sound ••

Daega Sound have their own unique sound in the electronic and dance music world. Driven solely by their lifelong love of music, they are steadily laying a foundation of releases and performances gaining national and international critical acclaim in the ever evolving bass music scene.

Since their first release in ‘08 Daega Sound has a solid place in the shaping and development of the bass music scene in North America. The duo have many releases out on vinyl, digital and CD on labels Deep Heads (UK), Black Box (UK), Tuba (US), Interchill (Can), CX:Digital (UK), Muti Music (US), King Deluxe (Can), Car Crash Set (US), Fathom Recordings (Can). They’ve also received solid DJ support from notable peers such as Truth, Loxy, RSD, BunZero, OM Unit, Phaeleh, Headhunter, Matt-U – to name a few – and their music regularly airs on RinseFM, SubFM, KissFM, and has even received play on BBC Radio 1.

Daega Sound are not just known for the sophisticated published bass music works, but also for their heavy hitting Live PA and DJ performances. Their high energy sets have a distinct techno quality meshed with a “classic” dubstep sound. Always pushing the boundaries, the brothers continue to put out more tracks and keep tuning their live performances.

•• Abstrakt Sonance ••

Abstrakt Sonance is a force like no other in the bass music world. Slaying every genre, plus experimenting into uncharted realms, Abstrakt is very known world wide with his dubstep and drum’n’bass. That’s not to say he is limited to those genres however, as he is known for dropping deep dubstep, drum & bass, hip hop, and multi genre sets on the regular… In fact, Abstrakt Sonance has played in 15 countries, completed over 10 tours, and has an arsenal of new music just waiting to be unleashed on your ears!

•• L Nix ••

Levi Nicoll aka L Nix is a producer from Nelson BC Canada and started the craft in 2005. As long time junglist DJ it was natural to start withdrum & bass and took to it head on. It was about 2008 when L Nix heard the true inviting nature of dubstep and has been releasing it in one form or another. Whether it via the duo Orbatak or solo most of the dubstep was much more distorted, harder and heavy bass related production.

It was roughly 2012 when L Nix made the move into the more intelligent and mature deep dark sounds that reminded him of the older days of drum & bass, speed garage and two step, the main influences of his from years past. He has released original tracks and remixes on Phantom Hertz Recordings, Really Good Recordings, HEAVY ARTILLERY RECORDINGS, and Betamorph Recordings, to name a few.

L Nix celebrates his third LP titled ‘Lost Crypt’ on Portland-based record label Phantom Hertz. Lost Crypt reached # 1 on the Juno Deep Dubstep chart, and #2 on the Dubstep album chart.
